Spring is here, where I am, Offering its blushing trees (my Earth Mothers), And all of creation rising, hot with desire.
Desire rises As crocuses, snowdrops, and daffodils. Desire arrives On the wings of returning birds Carrying their heat and need For that sweetness between the loins.
Desire calls me to you, too, my friend, Friendship is co-creation Desire is transcendence. Seed and soil, an eternal friendship.
Desire makes me sing And whirl in the glory: Life! Life! Life! And Love! Love! Love!
But then again, there is a dark side to desire, Or is there?
